Supervision

I have been a supervisor for many years.

I have supervised practitioners for continuing professional development, registration, endorsement, family therapy training, and social work.

Supervision with me can encompass case presentation, developing the supervisee’s ability to work effectively with a range of client presentations, viewing videos of their work together, reviewing everything from clinical assessment to case formulation and treatment planning.

As an Accredited Feedback Informed Trainer (FIT) with the International Centre for Clinical Excellence (ICC, I have a special interest in implementing outcome measurement and the use of Deliberate Practice to enhance your effectiveness with clients

I am a counselling and clinical psychologist. This means that I am interested in the therapeutic process, complex presentations, a range of therapeutic modalities, and client outcomes.

My clinical interests are personality disorder, trauma, chronic pain, and treatment-resistant mental health conditions.

I have substantial training in CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, Family and relationship counselling (Gottman) and an ongoing interest in psychodynamic ideas as they can be applied to short-medium term work with clients.

I am available for one-off sessions for complex cases or tricky ethical dilemmas
